s =  \frac{a + b}{2}  \times h

S = (19+23)/2×14

S = 42/2×14

S = 21×14

S = 294 cm^2

If the radius of a circle is 3, calculate the diameter.
Rom4ik [11]

Answer:

The diameter would be 6

Step-by-step explanation:

the radius is half of a diameter, so you would have to double the radius to get the diameter

d=2r

=2(3)

=6

The diameter reaches across the circle, while the radius reaches only half way, so you would have to double the radius to get the diameter (2r)

I don't get this problem. Lila decided to make kore baked goods for the bake sale. She used 1 / 8 lb less flour to make bread th
Anvisha [2.4K]
Start by taking the information we know, and write equations to represent the realationships:

1) "1/8 lbs less flour to make bread than to make cookies"
     b=c-\frac{1}{8}

2) "1/4 lb more flour to make cookies than to make brownies:
     c=w+\frac{1}{4}

3) "she used 1/2 lb of flour ro make bread"
    b = \frac{1}{2}

From here you can solve for w using back substitution.

Factor Completely: 25x2 - 64 A) 5(x - 8)(x + 8) B) 5(x - 8)(x - 8) C) (5x - 8)(5x + 8) D) (25x - 1)(x + 64)
ZanzabumX [31]

Rewrite it in the form a^2 - b^2, where a = 5x and b = 8

(5x)^2 - 8^2

Use the Difference of Squares; a^2 - b^2 = (a + b)(a - b)

<u>= C. (5x - 8)(5x + 8)</u>
