Cube root is the 3 same numbers that you need to multiply to get that number so the answer is like x where x^3=711
so factor
711=3 times 3 times 79
so it's not going to factor easily so we have to use a calculator

the answer is 8.9253077595542
normally the teacher only wants 2 decimmal places

The easiest way to explain this is to just tell you the first three digits behind the decimals because those are the only ones that you will need. So the correct answer is 8.925 .

The table shows conversions of common units of length.
fgiga [73]

Answer:

0.50 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

<em>We can use two unit converters to solve this problem.</em>

  • 1 mile = 1.61 kilometers, and
  • 1000 meters = 1 kilometers

<em>Thus, we can setup the ratio below and solve:</em>

800 Meter*\frac{1Kilometer}{1000Meter}*\frac{1Mile}{1.61Kilometer}\\=\frac{800*1*1}{1000*1.61}Mile\\=\frac{800}{1610}Mile\\=0.497Mile

Rounding to 2 decimal places, 800 meters = 0.50 miles.
