The Russian Revolution in its entirety is a series of revolutions, rebellions and riots that began in 1905, until the final overthrow of the centuries-old emperor's arrangement and the establishment of the Communist dictatorship during the October Revolution of 1917. In addition to Tsar being overthrown, i.e. abdicated under pressure, the complete policy and mode of governing the state was changed and a communist regime was established.

What did nativists think about Chinatowns in the late 1800s?
fiasKO [112]

Chinese immigrants were cast as outcasts in Californian society, because of cultural differences - customs, clothing, beliefs, food, language etc -. The response to those differences caused Chinese immigrants to form their own community called Chinatowns.

Nativists thought Chinatowns were dangerous but necessary to help Chinese immigrants to assimilate, they also thought Chinatown was useful because it was used to separate immigrants from other residents.

Fugitive slaves traveled to Pennsylvania using all of the following methods except?
vivado [14]
Well, this is very easy, first up; what's a fugitive?

A fugitive is a person that has escaped a place/or is in hiding;to avoid arrest/persecution.

So traveling by wagons, railroads, and walking makes sense. Except for one, slave ships, that makes no sense at all. Why would fugitive slaves travel on "slave ships?"
