his teacher is using Negative punishment to discipline frankie.

Further explanation

Punishment is a way to direct a behavior to conform to generally accepted behavior. In this case, punishment is given when an unexpected behavior is displayed by the person concerned or the person concerned does not provide a response that does not display an expected behavior. E.L. Thorndike argues that punishment imposes its effect on behavior by weakening the relationship between stimulus and the subsequent response he reviews his statement.

Punishment does not become a torture to someone who makes a mistake but in modifying my sentence punishment is used as a way to change the behavior that is not good or maladaptive to be better, it can be said that punishment is a way to educate and motivate someone to be better.

Punishment is given to make the individual aware that the wrongdoing, to form a good person and to impose responsibility on the individual for the consequences of mistakes or violations committed. In Skinner's theory the punishment is divided into two namely:

 • Positive punishment (positive punishment) is the reduction in behavior when followed by unpleasant stimuli.
 • Negative punishment is the reduction in behavior when positive stimuli are removed or taken.

the positive effects of punishment are:

 • Making improvements to adolescent mistakes.
 • Teenagers no longer make the same mistakes.
 • Feel the consequences of his actions so that he will respect himself.

 1. Initial Appearance – This is the defendant’s first appearance in court, and the defendant is advised of the charges. The judge appoints an attorney if the defendant cannot afford one.
 2. Arraignment – The defendant appears in court to enter a plea of guilty or not guilty. Many limited jurisdiction courts combine the initial appearance and the arraignment
 3. Trial – If the defendant pleads not guilty, a trial is held. The judge—or at the defendant’s request, a jury—can hear evidence on the charges and find the defendant guilty or not guilty.
 4. Sentencing – If the defendant is found guilty, the court imposes the appropriate punishment (sentence).
 5. Appeals – Appeals from decisions of limited jurisdiction courts go to the supreme court. An appeal may be heard as a new trial (a trial de novo), or the supreme court judge may review records of trial proceedings if records have been kept. Decisions made in small claims court cannot be appealed.
