John Locke (1632-1704) was an English philosopher from the Early Enlightenment, one of the most influential philosophers of early Enlightenment. In the discussion of the governments, he advocated that the suspects of people be equal with equal natural rights, opposed to the assertion that God subordinated all the people to the monarch.  According to him, natural law emerged, it was known by reason, of course, he was also a philosopher from the Age of Reason, as well as one of the first British empiricists, physician, had a degree in medicine.
