The National Education Association (NEA) is an organization of teachers, administrators, and other educators who work together t

o advance the interests and impact of public education. One of the NEA’s goals is to support public education by ending government funding of voucher programs that promote school privatization. Vouchers give parents financial incentives to send their children to private schools rather than having children attend local public schools. Answer:

The correct response is Option A.  Lobby members of congressional committees to vote against all legislation that would support school voucher programs.

Explanation:  It would be most effective for the National Education Association to lobby the members of congressional committees because they have more sway with getting proposals and bills to be presented to Congress and they can more easily convince other representatives of the viability of an idea.  It would be inefficient and take more time to petition Congress for an oversight hearing, for example, and there is a chance that the hearing would not be granted.  Lobbying the members of congressional committees is more efficient than just calling your own representative who may or may not support your position on private schools.

No, there are only 2 states that award electoral votes as a percentage of the popular vote. Nebraska and Maine award electoral votes based on which candidate won each Congressional district. The other 48 states are winner takes all.
