Well to do this you've got to divide 10 by 1 1/4, so you're going to want to turn both into mixed numbers.

10 is 10/1, and 1 1/4 will be 5/4.  Now you can divide 10/1 by 5/4.

In order to divide fractions, you have to use the inverse operations to get the answer -- flip it all around.

10/1 stays the same, but the division sign and 5/4 get flipped.  This turns the problem into 10/1 * 4/5

10/1 * 4/5 will equal 40/5, and to simplify you just have to divide that.  40 / 5 = 8, so you can fit 8 shakers worth of salt into this box.

If you graph a system of linear inequalities that have no overlap, what can you determine from the slopes of the inequalities?
NISA [10]
I have found the options elsewhere and they are as follows:

the slopes must be positive

the slopes must be negative

their slopes are equal

the slopes are opposite reciprocals.

From the choices, I think the correct answer would that their slopes are equal since they are parallel lines and never intersect.

Prime numbers have ________.
yawa3891 [41]
A. Prime numbers have only 2 factors 1 and itself

B. Composite numbers have at least one divisor other than itself

C. 1 is neither prime nor composite because the only factor is 1 prime numbers have two factors another factor and its self not two of the same factors same with the composite what happens is that 1 should have more factors than just itself as of what composite is about! So 1 is neither prime nor composite

Really hope it helps!!
