Yeomen refused to fight in continental army, would only fight in local coalitions, the people refused the military draft ( the government ended up having to pay bounty for them to fight for shorter than original term). In addition, the soldiers were often poor youths, older foreign-born men, ex-convicts, and former indentured servants so they were untrained and unfinished
creating the Environmental Protection Agency, and cutting government spending.
The reason why grievances was included in the declaration of independence is because the colonies thought it was unconstitutional that the British imposed taxes on them without asking for their consent. Part of this reason are the assertions made in the Stamp Act.
