Mathematics

Y = 1/4x + 6.....this has a slope of 1/4 (or 0.25).....| 0.25 | = 0.25
y = -3/4x - 9....this has a slope of -3/4 (or - 0.75)...|-0.75 | = 0.75
y = 2x + 1.......this has a slope of 2...| 2 | = 2
y = -7x - 2......this has a slope of -7...| -7 | = 7

to find the least steep, take the lowest number of the absolute value of the slopes.

so the least steep graph is gonna be A. y = 1/4x + 6

Cosxsinx-2cosx=0<br> I dont know how to solve this
jekas [21]
Factor out cosx: cosx(sinx-2)=0
cosx=0 or sinx-2=0
cosx=0 or sinx=2
the largest value of sinx is 1, sinx will never be 2, so cosx=0, x=π/2 or 3π/2 are the two answers.

Steven just got a new summer job painting fences in his neighborhood. He will be paid $7.25 an hour. His first customer paid him
mote1985 [20]

Answer:

a). The equation; 7.25 h-36.25=0

b). total number of hours Steven work=5 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

Part A

The expression for the total money earned is as follows;

T=E×h

where;

T=total earnings

E=earnings per hour

h=number of hours worked

In our case;

T=$36.25

E=$7.25

h=h

replacing;

36.25=(7.25×h)

36.25=7.25 h

The equation would be; 7.25 h=36.25, or 7.25 h-36.25=0

Part B

7.25 h=36.25

h=36.25/7.25

h=5

total number of hours Steven work=5 hours

For any perfect square trinomial (quadratic), the constant term (last term) must be positive.
Ronch [10]

Answer:

For the perfect square trinomial (quadratic) i.e. \left(x\:+\:3\right)^2, the constant term (last term) is positive.

Step-by-step explanation:

"Perfect square trinomials" are termed as the quadratics that are the outcomes of squaring binomials.

For example:

\left(x\:+\:3\right)^2

\mathrm{Apply\:Perfect\:Square\:Formula}:\quad \left(a+b\right)^2=a^2+2ab+b^2

a=x,\:\:b=3

=x^2+2x\cdot \:3+3^2

=x^2+6x+9

Therefore, for the perfect square trinomial (quadratic) i.e. \left(x\:+\:3\right)^2, the constant term (last term) is positive.
