Question 3) 5x-26=18x This is how the equation is written if you substitute numbers for words and x for unknown number. 18x-5x =13x divide everything by 13 to get x= -2

Question 4) 63-x=2x+3 add x to each side and subtract 3 from each side to get 60=3x divide by 3 to get x=20

Question 5) -30x= -27x-63 add -27x to each side to get -3x= -63. Divide everything by -3 to get x=21

Question 6) 12x-18= 18+13x subtract 12x from both sides to get -18=18+x subtract 18 from both sides to get x=-36
