Hmm.. if we plug zero in for x like any other limit, anything to the power of 0 is 1, so as x approaches 0 from above the limit would be 1.
L’Hospital’s rule only applies if the limit is 0/0 or ∞/∞. But we don’t have a fraction. Unless there is another stupid trig identity of tan that I’m forgetting lol.
