It's just a tiny bit sloppy. The 10.2 cm should be designated with a right angle too. I'll answer it that way.

Area = (L1 + L2)*h/2
L1 = 10.2
L2 = 12.2
h = 12.6
all givens are in cm.

Area = (10.2 + 12.2)*12.6/2
Area = 22.4 * 6.3
Area = 78.12 cm^2

What is the hypotenuse of a right triangle if the legs are each 20 inches long? Round to the nearest whole number. A. 28 B. 29 C
marusya05 [52]

Answer:

The answer is A.

Step-by-step explanation:

You have to apply Pythagoras Theorem :

{c}^{2}  =  {a}^{2}  +  {b}^{2}

let \: a = 20,b = 20

{c}^{2}  =  {20}^{2}  +  {20}^{2}

{c}^{2}  = 800

c =  \sqrt{800}

c = 28 \: (nearest \: whole \: no.)

P.S (Take note):

Pythagoras Theorem can only applied in <u>r</u><u>i</u><u>g</u><u>h</u><u>t</u><u> </u><u>a</u><u>n</u><u>g</u><u>l</u><u>e</u><u> </u><u>t</u><u>r</u><u>i</u><u>a</u><u>n</u><u>g</u><u>l</u><u>e</u>.

Alex_Xolod [135]

Number of cups of water consumed per hour = 1 2/3 cups = 5/3 cups .

Number of hours spent in exercise = 14 hours

Number of cups consumed in the given month = ( Number of cups consumed per hour )(Total number of hours)

Therefore,

\begin{gathered}  \\  \\  \end{gathered}

Thus the number of cups of water consumed is ,
