Can y’all help me with the 1st and 2nd one plz
kherson [118]

1. -1/5>-3/5 because we have like denominators we compare the inputs by the numerators.

2. 3/4 > 5/8 the least common denominator is: 8

Rewriting as equivalent fractions with the LCD:

                                   3/4 = 6/8    5/8 = 5/8

Comparing the numerators of the equivalent fractions we have:

                                   6/8 > 5/8

Help Ill give 100 points!
nata0808 [166]

Answer:

0, 1, 1/2

Step-by-step explanation:

First you would have to make them have the same denominators.

The lowest one they share is 24.

What ever you do to the bottom you have to do to the bottom.

1/6, times each by 4.

1 * 4 = 4

6 * 4 = 24

4/24.

Now you have to do the same thnig for 5/8.

But times it by 3, since 8 times 3 is 24.

5 * 3 = 15

8 * 3 = 24

15/24

Now subtract.

15 - 4 = 11/24

the difference is close to one half.

4/24 = 1/6 is close to 0.

15/24 = 5/8 is close to 1.

David's last equation to solve is x/100+3/100=8/100. Write and solve an equivalent equation with easier numbers that would give
JulijaS [17]
\sf\dfrac{x}{100}+\dfrac{3}{100}=\dfrac{8}{100}

Subtract 3/100 to both sides:

\sf\dfrac{x}{100}=\dfrac{5}{100}

Cross multiply:

\sf100x=500

Divide 100 to both sides:

\sf~x=5

Or we could just multiply both sides of the equation by 100, to give us:

\sf~x+3=8

Subtract 3 to both sides:

\sf~x=5
