Why do I have to learn all of this if I'm gonna be a Rockstar when I'm older? I'm not gonna sing about geometry. or use algebra
Scorpion4ik [409]
Imo you only need to be taught the basic of math and other things like geometry and algebra should be optional, although math is a core class along english/language arts which is why it’s necessary

A is plotted on a coordinate grid at start bracket 3 and 1 over 2, negative 1 end bracket.. Choose the correct grid that best sh
dalvyx [7]

Answer:

A coordinate grid that shows a point located halfway between 3 and 4 units to the right and 1 unit down from the origin

Step-by-step explanation:

In a coordinate grid, the y axis is plotted on the vertical axis and the x axis is plotted on the horizontal axis. A is plotted on a coordinate grid at (3\frac{1}{2},-1) i.e (\frac{7}{2},-1). Above the origin is the positive y axis, below the origin is the negative y axis, right of the origin is the positive x axis and left of the origin is the negative x axis.

To plot A on the coordinate axis we need to locate 3\frac{1}{2} on the x axis and -1 on the y axis.  3\frac{1}{2} is halfway between 3 and 4, since the x coordinate is positive it is located to the right between 3 and 4 and since the y coordinate is negative it is located 1 unit down from the origin.

Is it possible for a number to be a rational number that is not an interger but is a whole number. Explain
mylen [45]

Whole numbers are a subset of integers, which in turn are a subset of rational numbers.

So, every whole number is an integer, and every integer is a rational number.

So, it is possible for a rational number not to be an integer. Think of any decimal number: 1.356 is a rational number, but it's not an integer.

On the other hand, if a number is not an integer, it can't be a whole number, because all whole numbers are integers.
