The weight of each fish would be 10 times the weight of the previous fish.

Assume that the first time, the weight was 500 lb.  Since there were 100 fish caught, each one would weigh 500/100 = 5 lb.

This time, however, only 10 fish were caught.  The weight is still 500 lb.  500/10 = 50 lb per fish.

50 = 5(10), so the weight is 10 times more.

How do I find the area of a trapezoid?
konstantin123 [22]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of a trapezoid is found with the formula, A=(a+b)/2 x h. Learn how to use the formula to find area of trapezoids.

The two parallel sides are the bases, and height, as always, is the perpendicular distance from one base to the opposite. The area of this parallelogram is its height (half-height of the trapezoid) times its base (sum of the bases of the trapezoid), so its area is half-height × (base1 + base2).

A construction worker is sent to the store to buy more than 30 lb of roofing nails. The nails are sold in 5 lb boxes and 10 lb b
trapecia [35]

Answer:

The answer is A: 5x + 10y > 30. That is, the combination of boxes must be greater than 30 since the requirement is to have more than 30 lb of nails.

Step-by-step explanation:

The worker can buy a combination of boxes, as long as the total is greater than 30 lb. Multiply 5 lb by x and add that to 10 lb times y to get the total, which must exceed 30 lb.
