The weight of each fish would be 10 times the weight of the previous fish.

Assume that the first time, the weight was 500 lb.  Since there were 100 fish caught, each one would weigh 500/100 = 5 lb.

This time, however, only 10 fish were caught.  The weight is still 500 lb.  500/10 = 50 lb per fish.

50 = 5(10), so the weight is 10 times more.

The Eat Right Fruit Company sells 9/15 of a ton of bananas to one customer and 13/15 of a ton of bananas to another customer. Ho
Simora [160]
Since the problem is simply asking for the total tons of bananas the company sold, we can just simply add the tons of bananas the Eat Right Fruit Company sold to the two customers.

Doing this operation, we'll get:
\frac{9}{15}+ \frac{13}{15}= \frac{22}{15}=1 \frac{7}{15}

ANSWER: The company sold 1\frac{7}{15} tons of bananas.

What is 8x to the power 3 over 6x to the power 5
bulgar [2K]

In this question, you're simplifying the "fraction".

<em>Simplify:</em>

8x² / 6x^5

<em>First, simplify the 8 and the 6 by dividing by 2</em>

4x² / 3x^5

<em>Now simplify the exponents:</em>

The exponents is equivalent to: x² - x^5

x² - x^5 = -x²

Since it's a negative, it would stay in the bottom of the fraction, or the denominator.

4 / 3x²

4 / 3x²

Did the scale factor of 0.75 enlarge reduce or stay the same?
elixir [45]

Answer:

\huge\boxed{\sf Reduces}

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the scale factor of 0.75 is less than 1, So the dilated image is a reduced image.

Thus the scale factor of 0.75 reduces the dilated image.

\rule[225]{225}{2}

Hope this helped!

galina1969 [7]

Answer:

C. x³+10x²−5x+5

E. 7x⁵+4x²

F. x+8

Step-by-step explanation:

The graph they described should look something like the one i drew below.

So all you have to do is look at the number with the highest exponent.

If the exponent is an odd number and the x is positive then that function will have an end behavior like the picture i posted.

x³ is good

-x³ is bad because of the negative sign

x² is bad because exponent is even

x⁷ is good

123x¹ is good
