They have to listen to the other person. They also have to try to think of a solution that both people can agree with. They should try to see it from both sides of view and try not to judge the other person.

They need to sit at the same level usually when one person is higher than the other they seem to think they have more control and more power they do need to see both sides of the argument!! They can also be patient with each other.
