Answer:

The correct answer is option A.

Explanation:

Paralogous genes are homologous genes that are the product of the process of gene duplication. These copies of gene products in the gene duplication process are termed as the paralogous of each other. Generally, the function of these genes develop new function but can also keep its original function.

Hemoglobin gene has paralogous genes α and β with a minor difference in their function in mammals.

Describe what occurs in the body of a type 1 diabetic after they consumer a carbohydrate-heavy meal. In your response, include t
Lunna [17]

Answer:

Carbohydrate’s direct impact is to raise blood sugar levels and therefore too much carbohydrate can cause problems for people with diabetes.

People with diabetes have problems with insulin that can cause blood sugar levels to rise. For people with type 1 diabetes, the <u>pancreas</u> loses the ability to make insulin. For people with type 2 diabetes, the body can't respond normally to the insulin that is made.

When carbohydrate is eaten, it gets broken down by digestion directly into <u>glucose</u> and is then absorbed into the blood.(by people who don't have diabetes). The body then sends out <u>insulin</u> (unless you have type 1 diabetes) to move glucose out of the blood. Insulin will either move glucose into working cells such as the muscles or organs, or store the glucose as body fat.

It is an advantage for us to eat foods that contain more than one type of molecule (glucose, proteins, lipids, and starch) because it's a healthy source of food that doesn't use much <u>energy</u> of body parts during digestion.

Arada [10]
When a child is little, they must have a ton of interaction with other people. Children repeat things they hear when they're little, and with the caregiver not communicating with the child, they don't have a chance to engage the brain through words. With the caretaker not using the child's name, the babe might not respond when people call their name, which is not good. With no walking or crawling, the baby will have a hard time learning as it isn't practicing when it counts the most.
