Miranda needs 3.5 yards of fabric to make a curtain for her dining room window and 2.25 yards of the same fabric to make a match
schepotkina [342]

Answer:

Well, 3.5 yards + 2.25 = 5.75

Now, just subtract 6.5 - 5.75 = .75

How are a ruler, a yardstick, and a measuring tape the same? How are they different?
QveST [7]
They all use the metric unit to measure things (e.g. inches, centimeters, etc.)
As far as I know, I think the difference might be that a yardstick only measures 1 yard. It has 36 inches (which is 3 feet, which is also 1 yard).
A ruler usually is only 12 inches.
A measuring tape is usually 12 feet.
That's what I know.
