The first blank would be the Corresponding Angles Postulate because corresponding angles are congruent

The second blank would be the Supplementary Angles Theorem because it states that if two angles share one a common line, they are supplements and add to 180

Hope this helps!

If angle 1=120 that means that angle 5 must also equal 120 and because angle 5 and 6 are on the same line their sum must be 180. 180-120=60 so that proves angle 6=60

An ostrich run 6 mile in12 minut how far he could come in 40 minutes
bogdanovich [222]

The ostrich can run 20 miles in 40 minutes.

<u>Solution:</u>

Given that, An ostrich run 6 mile in 12 minutes

We have to find how far he could come in 40 minutes

Now, according to the given information

Ostrich runs 6 miles ⇒ 12 minutes

Then, “n” miles ⇒ 40 minutes

Now, by criss cross multiplication we get,

\begin{array}{l}{\rightarrow 6 \times 40=n \times 12} \\\\ {\rightarrow 40=n \times 2} \\\\ {\rightarrow n=20}\end{array}

Hence, the ostrich can run 20 miles in 40 minutes

2(8a + 5b) -(2a + 3b) Part A: Simplify the expression shown above, and include all necessary work to support your answer. Part B
Alex17521 [72]

Answer:

Total cost = <em>$</em> 4.55

Step-by-step explanation:

2(8a + 5b) -(2a + 3b)

<em>Part A: Simplify the expression shown above</em>

Exapanding the brackets;

16a + 10b - 2a - 3b

Collecting like terms;

16a - 2a + 10b - 3b

14a + 7b

<em>Part B: If a represents apples that cost $0.25 each and b represents bananas that cost SO. 15 each, what is the total cost based on the expression above?</em>

a = 0.25

b = 0.15

14a + 7b

Inserting the values into the equation;

14 (0.25) + 7(0.15)

Total cost = <em>$</em> 4.55
