<span>Codons form a unit of the genetic code that determines a specific Codons are successive sequences of three nucleotides, found in DNA or RNA (when the transcription occurs), codons in RNA will be translated to a polypeptide sequence (a sequence of amino acids),
The amino acids present in the polypeptide sequence strongly depend on the RNA codons. because each codon will code for a specific amino acid, for example, the AUG (adenine -uracyl-guanine sequence) will code for a methionine, if one of the nucleotides in the RNA change, it may change the resulting amino acid which, could change the protein structure and activity.
It should be noted that one amino acid can be translated from different codons, for example, AUA, AUC and AUU code for the same amino acid which is Isoleucine A codon can also be translated as a stop signal to terminate the translation.</span>

Pink fairy armadillo homologous structure are similar to human homologous structure. But how?
alexandr1967 [171]

Answer:

It is imperative to have into account which is the origin of the pink fairy armadillo homologous structure.

Explanation:

Homologous structures are the product of common ancestry, while similarities/analogies are the result of convergent evolution (i.e., they do not share a common ancestor). Moreover, the homoplasy is produced when a structure was gained or lost in different lineages during evolution.

If a woman with curly hair and a man with straight hair have a child with wavy hair, the gene for this characteristic of hair sh
Stells [14]

Answer:

The correct option is Incomplete dominance.

Explanation:

Incomplete dominance describes the situation in which the phenotype of heterozygous is different from that of their respective homozygous. It means that when both parents are homozygous for some feature, each expressing a particular phenotype, their heterozygous descendants have a phenotype that will be between the phenotypes of their parents. In the present case, the woman has curly hair ( dominant homozygous) and the man has straight hair (recessive homozygous), but the child have wavy hair (heterozygous), not curly nor straight.

SashulF [63]

Answer:

Organelles

Explanation:

Living cells of organisms contain structures within them that perform specific functions for the cell. These structures are called ORGANELLES. Organelles are organ-like structures that are specific about their function in a cell.

Both the cells of prokaryotes and eukaryotes possess organelles, however, the organelles in eukaryotes are bounded by a membrane e.g mitochondrion, chloroplast etc. while those of prokaryotic cells are not bounded by a membrane.

The organelles inside a cell can be seen with the aid of an electron microscope. Examples of organelles are chloroplast (functions in photosynthesis), mitochondria (functions in production and storage of cellular energy), ribosome (functions in protein synthesis) etc.
