Answer:

It is imperative to have into account which is the origin of the pink fairy armadillo homologous structure.

Explanation:

Homologous structures are the product of common ancestry, while similarities/analogies are the result of convergent evolution (i.e., they do not share a common ancestor). Moreover, the homoplasy is produced when a structure was gained or lost in different lineages during evolution.

The right answer is C.

Incomplete dominance is when hybrids of the F1 generation have an intermediate phenotype (between the two phenotypes). That is, in the case of familial hypercholesterolemia, if the subject is heterozygous it will have 50% functional receptors compared to a healthy homozygous subject.

Before the discovery of cells, people believed in the theory of spontaneous generation. According to this theory, living things
Cerrena [4.2K]
Hello!

The two statements that disprove the theory of spontaneous generation are that A) All living things are made of cells and that D) Living cells can only come from previously existing cells.

The scientist that disproved the spontaneous generation theory was Louis Pasteur, who boiled a culture broth free of microorganisms and let it stand for a long period of time. No organisms grew from the flask, but when Pasteur opened it to the environment the flask soon became full of bacteria. That proved that there were microorganisms that were responsible for the growing of living things and disproved the theory of Spontaneous generation.

Salmon eggs hatch in freshwater streams and, during their first year of life, the young salmon migrate distances up to 1,000 km
Lesechka [4]

Acclimation is the physiological response or phenomenon which is responsible for survival of salmon in fresh water and salt water.

When a young salmon starts its sea journey it travels wide distances in search for oceans completing a leg of their journey. They travel back to home streams for spawning. This survival in different osmotic potentials and salinity is due to osmoregulation and acclimation. System of salmon detects saline change and instigates a negative feedback system to the body water concentration. Similar feedback works contrastingly when salmon is in fresh water or marine streams of water.

Hence, the physiological response occuring in salmon is acclimation.

Which of these is what DNA and RNA are? *
olya-2409 [2.1K]

Answer: DNA and RNA are both examples of nucleic acids

They consist of a strand of nucleotides with a phosphate group, a 5′ sugar and a nitrogenous base.

Extra info: DNA and RNA molecules are polymers. DNA is double stranded, whereas RNA is single stranded.

The nucleotides of DNA can pair together by base pairing, creating a strand that is complementary to its pair

Various types of RNA exist which have roles in protein synthesis as well as regulation of cellular programmes by fine-tuning gene expression.

SIZIF [17.4K]
Prototypes are especially important in the process of classifying objects. If you didn't have enough prototypes, it would be difficult for you to go through with the whole process of classifying objects around you or in the world generally.
