Answer:

In descending order the function are represented as D>F>A>B>E>C

Step-by-step explanation:

Whether it is increasing or is the larger or smaller number it all depends on its slope.

Equation of line y=m(x)+c,and m is the slope.

So we will work with the slopes of each equations and arrange them in descending order.[Greater to larger number sequence]

Slopes are \frac{4}{3}, \frac{5}{4}, \frac{-2}{1},\frac{7}{4}, \frac{6}{5}, \frac{8}{5}

We will equate the denominator by taking LCD of it then multiply numerator and denominator with a fix number which can bring all the denominator same.

LCD of the denominator (1,3,4,5)=60

Example:

\frac{4}{3}=\frac{4\times 20}{3\times 20}= \frac{80}{60}

Similarly we will equate all the fractions.

So the slope are \frac{80}{60}, \frac{75}{60}, \frac{-120}{60},\frac{105}{60}, \frac{72}{60}, \frac{96}{60}

In descending order the numbers are:

\frac{105}{60},\frac{96}{60}, \frac{80}{60}, \frac{75}{60},\frac{72}{60},\frac{-120}{60}

According to the option the right choice are as follows:

D>F>A>B>E>C

Barbra can walk 3,200 meters in 24 minutes. How far can she walk in three minutes.
lisabon 2012 [21]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

To find how far she can walk in 3 minutes, we need to find how fast she can walk in 1 minutes. We do this by dividing the distance she walked by the time she walked. Lets do so.

3200/24=133.33

She walks 133.33 meters per minute. Now to find her distance in 3 minutes w multiply this number by 3.

133.33*3=400

Barbra walks 400 meters every 3 minutes.

If the present value of an item is P
Mumz [18]

Answer:

<u>$50,000</u>

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula to find interest :

I = Prt

Solving :

  • I = (20,000)(0.06)(25)
  • I = (1.5)(20,000)
  • I = (30,000)

Future value :

  • P + I
  • 20,000 + 30,000
  • <u>$50,000</u>
