It means that the variables cancelled out and you might have made an error in your working, or it could also mean that that solution was not going to work out (hence leading 0=0). It all depends on the question.

Hope I helped :)

Karen plans to drive to a national park that is 582.8 miles away her car gets 23.5 miles on 1 gallon of gasoline gasoline cost $
NARA [144]

Answer: The correct answer is $85.56

Step-by-step explanation:

If Karen gets 23.5 miles per one gallon of gas, we divide 582.8 miles by 23.5 to see how many gallons she will use to go the 582.8 miles. The answer is 24.8 gallons. (582.8/23.5=24.8)

We then multiply 24.8 ( the total amount of gallons) x $3.45 (per gallon)= $85.56 for the entire trip

nikdorinn [45]

Answer:

The probability that at most 10 of them will be living with both of their parents is 0.0018

Solution:

Given, US 1995, 70% of all children in the U.S. were living with both parents. 25 children were selected at random in the U.S.,

We have to find what is the probability that at most 10 of them will be living with both of their parents?

Now, number of children picked (n) = 25.

Probability to be with parents = 70% = 0.7.

Our condition is 0 ≤ x ≤ 10.

Then, we have to calculate p(0 ≤ x ≤ 10).

We can calculate using binomial cumulative distribution frequency- binomial CDF

Now, p(0 ≤ x ≤ 10) = binomcdf(n, p, x) = binomcdf(25, 0.7, 10) = 0.00177840 ≈ 0.0018.

Hence, the probability is 0.0018
