Anyone can answer this self-reflective question. You might actually enjoy it if you are going through a tough time, or know what
it's like to. READ TILL THE END Story time:
There are crustaceans living in the ocean called lobsters.
There outer protective shell does not grow in size.
Lobsters do grow in size.
Every now and then a lobster will feel a little pressure from outgrowing it's shell.
Consequentially, the lobster must take off its' shell so it can grow a new one.
When the lobster takes of the shell it is vulnerable to many things that before seemed like minor challenges.
It looks a lot more like prey without it's shell, but it must come of for the right one to grow on.
Instead of continuing its' normal life out in the ecosystem, the lobster must take shelter in a isolated cave so it can be safe while it is taking off its' shell, and working on getting one that is better fitted for the time.
The lobster continues this process throughout its' life; taking a break to remove the shell when it is uncomfortable, and healing in a safe place away from the dangers and unhealthy temptations of the world around it. The lobster had two options every time there was discomfort from the shell: to feel the discomfort and think it was his time to go, or to take time to himself to grow a new shell where it was safe.
In life we always have these two options, to give up where we are, or to put in the effort to take off our shell and change.
There are many ways that this lesson could be interpreted, I want to see what you guys interpreted it as. Remember there is no right or wrong answer.
The poem is saying, life is about taking risks or playing it safe. The lobster has to choice of taking the risk of finding a new shell, or playing it safe until it grows a new shell.
"In life we always have these two options, to give up where we are, or to put in the effort to take off our shell and change."
If you give up where you are, you're playing it safe so that you don't have to worry about a bad outcome. Deciding to "take off your shell and change." is a risk that you take, aware of the consequences that might come from the change.
The answer is C because fad diets are typically not successful for long-term weight loss and they can have bad effects on your health. Nutritionalists generally advise that a longer, slower dietary plan is healthier.
Many people look up to certain celebrities and want to follow their examples. Even the bad ones. Peer influence is very real and very active in schools and even at works. Children will follow their friends example even if they know it is wrong, simply because of peer pressure
You can approach your friend and ask them how they feel about your relationship. You must discuss the issues you have been having and see how they feel. Ask them if they feel like they are being abused. Try to figure out what hurt them and how you can avoid such things in the future. :)
