One of the goals of the progressive movement was to uplift the living standards of the people.  Industrialization made the country wealthy but it also widened the gap between the rich and poor.  Many people were living and working in hard conditions.  The Progressive sought to resolve that through advocating programs such as better working conditions and more benefits for workers to name a few.

Although most humans remained nomadic for a time, some settled into permanent places in areas that provided for them year-round.
Lana71 [14]

Answer:

Permanent houses, hospitals, schools and cultivation of crops.

Explanation:

Settling and staying in one area or location allowed humans to make permanent houses where they lived forever because that area has all the facilities available which is necessary for living. Humans also started to cultivate food crops instead of hunting in order to fulfill their food needs. Andrew Jackson Aaggressively exercising his presidential<br> power.
Murrr4er [49]

Answer:

True. As a former US Lawyer, Senator and the 7th President of the United States of America, Andrew JAckson championed this idea of the president being in charge of the national policy issues rather than leaving it in the hand of the Congress.

Explanation:

He is known as the peoples president due to the series of policies he initiated like the support of individual liberty, the policy that caused the forced migration of the native Americans etc.

His use of the veto power is also another way which he demonstrated the idea that the president rather than congress should take the lead in national policy issues. A typical example is the bill on the bill through Congress to re-charter the second bank of America (institution) which he vetoed (the rejection of the bill) because it encourages the advancement of the few individual at the expense of other citizens. :) can i get brainiest!
