A bicycle store costs $2250 per month to operate. The store pays an average of $40 per bike. The average selling price of each
lesantik [10]

Answer:

75

Step-by-step explanation:

Given That :

Operation cost = $2250 per month

Purchase price per bike = $40

Average selling price per bike = $70

How many bicycles must the store sell each month to break even ;

Break even point = point at which there is net profit / loss = 0

Let number of bicycles store must sell = x

Operation cost + (purchase price * Number of bicycles) = selling price * Number of bicycles

2250 + 40x = 70x

2250 = 70x - 40x

2250 = 30x

x = 2250 / 30

x = 75

To break even 75 bicycles must be sold

out of a group of zebras 6/5 times the square root of the number of zebras are playing on the shore of the tank remaining six ar
MatroZZZ [7]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

(6/5)√x = x - 6

(36/25)x = x² - 12x + 36

0 = x² - 13.44x + 36

x = (13.44 ± √(13.44² - 4(1)(36))) / (2(1))

x = (13.44 ± 6.052569702...) / 2

x = 3.69371... zebras

or

x = 9.74628... zebras

In either case we have some odd fractions of zebras hanging around. This makes me highly suspect that the question is misreported

Find the number of all 20 digit integers in which no two consecutive digits are the same
Arturiano [62]
For the first digit of the required 20-digit number, we can have 9 choices for the number, those are the digits 1 to 9. In the second digit of the number, we will only have 8 choices. That is because, we don't want to write a number in the second digit that is similar to the first digit and the third digit.

Similarly, in the third digit's place, we will only have 8 choices because we do not want the digit to be similar to the second digit and the fourth digit. This will go on up until the 19th digit. In the 20th digit, we will also have 9 choices (from 0-9) but we do not want the digit to be similar to the 19th digit.

From the explanation given above, we have the number of ways,

    n = 9 x 8^(19 - 1) x 9  = 1.459 x 10^18

ANSWER: 1.459 x 10^18
