For the first one yes because you add essentially 1, but three times so you have 3x's whish is 3x. for problem two you get 8xy because of the common base number. number two is no. for number three. no,because you distribute the negative which woukd make negative x minus 8. number problem 4 yes because distrubute the 4 to the x and 5

PLEASE HELP ME
Artist 52 [7]
I just answered a similar question here:
brainly.com/question/9180396

However, here it is again:
In general, a positive constant moves the function upwards and a negative one moves it downwards.
To shift a function left, you add units to the independent variable. To shift it right, you subtract a constant from "x".

So, the answer in your problem is:
<span>The graph is shifted left 6 units.</span>

Michael: (a)(b)(c)
irinina [24]

Answer:

Ladonna: a + c + b

Step-by-step explanation:

-The commutative property in addition states that the order of arrangement of the integers to be added has no effect on their sum such that:

x+y=y+x

-Since the alphabet follows the order a,b, c....

Only Ladonna rearranged to change this order to show the commutative property.

-Hence, Ladonna wrote the expression correctly.

*The commutative property should not be confused with the associative property.

-The latter allows you to change the order and terms within the closed parentheses while retaining the answer.
