The statements that correctly describe D-Day are “Although there were some problems the operation included brilliant strategies to ensure success and D-Day resulted in terrible loss of life, but the operation spelled the beginning of the end for Nazi Germany.”

During World War II, The Allied forces attacked the German Army in the coast of Normandy on June 6, 1944. That operation was called “D-Day”. With almost 150,000 allied soldiers, the victory over the German Army resulted in a transformation of events that represented the beginning of the victory for the Allied forces in World Awar II. So the statements that correctly describe D-Day are “Although there were some problems the operation included brilliant strategies to ensure success and D-Day resulted in terrible loss of life, but the operation spelled the beginning of the end for Nazi Germany.”

How did dregg do on his antarctic test math answers?
Soloha48 [4]
The answer is Dregg did delightfully on his Antarctic test because ... he knew it cold! This puzzle is a play on words; when somebody is fully set for every answer on a test, they can be said to "know it cold." At the same time the Antarctic is recognized for being, in fact, very cold. So in this joke Dregg knew all the answers about the cold weather of the Antarctic.

Asch demonstrated that group unanimity exerted an influence on conformity, above group size alone. question 1 options: true.
Lorico [155]

The statement is TRUE.

In 1951 Solomon Asch carried out the famous Conformity Experiments, set out to measure the dynamics of group-thinking. He presented his subjects with an extremely simple judgement task with a very obvious answer, joined by a previously prepared group that was told to answer incorrectly on purpose. By making it so simple, it would be clear that any subject that answered incorrectly would be doing it because of group pressure. With this first experiment, Asch proved a correlation between a group's influence on an individual's conformity.

Further trials went deeper into which factors were the most impactful to influence conformity. The results showed that increasing group size by up to three times, raised the conformity levels to 32%. However, larger groups did not impact this number. Applying group unanimity, on the other hand, showed an increase of as much as 80% on the conformity rates.

This clarified how much bigger of an influence unanimity was over group size, meaning it mattered more to an individual if an entire group agreed on something (even if the group was small), over a larger majority's opinion when a group was more split-up.
