u need to find surface area which is 2(lw)+2(lh)+2(wh)

so is 2(30x54)+2(30x10)+2(54x10)= 2(1620)+2(300)+2(540)=

3240+600+1080=4920 square feet

divide the amount u need by the amount per gallon so is 4920/400 which is 12.3 gallons

An education budget went from $800,000 to $900,000. what is the approximate percent increase?
VikaD [51]
First, calculate the difference between the two given budgets. $900,000 - $800,000 = $100,000. Divide the difference obtained by the original budget and then multiply by 100%
                              ($100,000 / $800,000) x 100% = 12.5%

<span>Thus, the answer to the question above is that the percent increase is 12.5%.</span>

You measure 20 dogs' weights, and find they have a mean weight of 64 ounces. Assume the population standard deviation is 11.5 ou
Assoli18 [71]

95% confidence interval would be (58.96, 69.04).

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Number of dogs' weight = 20

Mean = 64 ounces

Standard deviation = 11.5 ounces

We need to find the 95% confidence interval.

So, z = 1.96

so, interval would be

\bar{x}\pm z\dfrac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n}}\\\\=64\pm 1.96\times \dfrac{11.5}{\sqrt{20}}\\\\=64\pm 5.04\\\\=(64-5.04,64+5.04)\\\\=(58.96,69.04)

Hence, 95% confidence interval would be (58.96, 69.04).

Leya [2.2K]

Answer:

$ 720

Step-by-step explanation:

Normal time $ 15

Overtime: 15 x 1/3 = $5 + $15 = $20

(40 x 15) + (6 x 20) = 600 + 120
