First, we're going to see the candies per minute that machine C packs.
150 / 2 = 75

Now that we know that machine C packs 75 candies per minute, we're going to multiply the candies machine C makes by 11 minutes.
75 x 11 = 825

We're now gonna do the same with machine D.
130 x 11 = 1430

Then we're going to find the difference between machine C and machine D, we do this because the question basically asks how much more candies can machine D pack than machine C.
1430 - 825 = 605 candies.

This is how we find our final answer.

Our answer would be D) 605.

Hope this helps!~

A town has a population of 18000 and grows at 2% every year. To the nearest tenth of a year, how long will it be until the popul
8090 [49]

Answer:

19.9

Step-by-step explanation:

we can write the following equation

18000(1.02)^n

where n is the number of years

so we have

26700=18000(1.02)^n

solve for n

1.483=1.02^n

use logs to solve for n

n=19.9

Do the ratios 5:3 and 13:8 form a proportion?
shepuryov [24]

Answer:

  No

Step-by-step explanation:

Each ratio is irreducible, and they are different. Hence they are not the same value, so cannot be a proportion. A proportion is two equal ratios.

  5 : 3 = 40 : 24

  13 : 8 = 39 : 24 . . . . not the same as 40 : 24

_____

<em>Examples of proportions</em>

  5/3 = 40/24 . . . is a proportion

  13/8 = 39/24 . . . is a proportion

The oven tray is 600mm by 500mm. A cake tin is 25cm in diameter. How many cake tins can jenny fit on the oven tray at one time?
vlada-n [284]
Area of Circle= \pi &#10;r^{2}
                      = \frac{22}{7} x ( \frac{25cm}{2}) ^{2}
                      = 490.87cm^{2}

Area of Oven tray= 60cm x 50cm
                            = 3000cm^{2}

: . # tin that can hold on bake tray= 3000cm^{2} / <span>490.87cm^{2}                                 = 6.11
Thus making it logically 6..... </span>
