Answer:

Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness" is a well-known phrase in the United States Declaration of Independence. The phrase gives three examples of the "unalienable rights" which the Declaration says have been given to all human beings by their Creator, and which governments are created to protect. These rights apply to ideals or issues that are important in today’s world because they talk about life and happiness which every person in this world has.

In 1880, the organization reached 28,000 members and even gained more members to 100,000 in 1884.  But in 1893, the knights of labor declines its membership because of public pressure, power vested in reformist factions, and employers' unwillingness to arbitrate.

Slavery helped contribute to the south's cotton boom during the 1800's. this cotton boom helped raise the economy up. But during Civil War slavery was banned from the U.S. leaving the south after their defeat to lose the slaves and dropping the south into an economic depression.
