The area of the base is n(base*apotheme)/2 (actually the sum of the 5 subdivided triangles).  Surface area is the sum of the lateral surface area + area of the base.   Apothem is the distance between the centre of the pyramid base and the mid-point of any side (6.2 in this case).     ?? n=5 for a polygon of 5 sides.
