First I would have my friend call an ambulance while I checked his pulse. After this, I would most likely have my friends call for help in the hallway. Then I would try to put him against the wall in an upright position. Then I would try to get a response out of him whether verbally or physically. After this, I would wait for an ambulance to get there while sitting him up and trying to wake him up at the same time.

Classmate unable to finish project

I would make to begin doing CPR that we would monitor the situation and around Mr. Jackson and we next ask him if he is alright. After this, will ask my colleague to call 911 and get an aid. Next, I would inaugurate Mr. Jackson's airway, producing it comfortable to exist.

Then I will monitor for 10 seconds if Mr. Jackson can breathe, if he doesn't I will initiate CPR. I will fasten my hands on the center of the chest and utilizing my body weight to make 2 inch deep compressions in 100 compressions per minute. After that, I will fix the head slightly back and chin elevated to pass 2 rescue breaths.

In the end, I will resume CPR until some aid comes, or my classmate gets the AID or if Mr. Jackson begins to breathe. Examine to see if the person is alert, and monitor important symbols. And if so question regarding assisting them. Would also have someone called from 911 for help. Make certain that the airway is free. Perform CPR and rescue breaths, monitoring to any variations in essential symbols.

Which of these actions is an example of practicing delayed gratification rather than acting on an impulse
Elenna [48]

The correct answer is: C. Ordering a salad instead of a burger at lunch

From the options listed above, ordering a salad instead of a burger at lunch, is the best example of practicing delayed gratification rather than acting on an impulse. When you crave a burger (an unhealthier food choice), but order a salad instead (a less palatable, yet much healthier food choice), you are delaying gratification you would obtain from a burger, and showing restraint by not acting on your impulse to eat a burger. Restraint and impulse control indicate maturity, emotional stability and overall better life outcomes, compared to acting impulsively and opting for immediate gratification.
