The steps for protein synthesis in order are:

1. Copy of one side of DNA strand is made (called mRNA, messenger RNA)

2. mRNA moves to cytoplasm, then ribosome.

3. mRNA goes through ribosome 3 bases at a time.

4. transfer RNA (tRNA) matches up with the open DNA bases.

5. tRNA releases the amino acid at the top, which joins the chain of amino acids being produced.

Answer:

Steps of protein synthesis:

1) DNA double helix unwinds into a single strand and exposes a sequence of nitrogenous bases, this is also known as the unzipping process.

2) Transcription: In this process, DNA transfer the genetic instruction to mRNA in the nucleus.

3) Translation: In this process mRNA couples the ribosomes & tRNA helps to bring amino acids to ribosomes. This process is known as Initiation.

4) Elongation: Anti-codons present on tRNA recognizes codons present on mRNA.

5) Termination: In this step when the stop signal on mRNA is reached, the process of protein synthesis is terminated.

how do i describe the second part of anaphase one the cell cycle? as in after the division of chromosomes.

Answer:

<h2><u><em>I think this will help u with the answer that ur looking for. I hope so</em></u></h2>

Explanation:

<h3><u><em>Anaphase is the fourth phase of mitosis, the process that separates the duplicated genetic material carried in the nucleus of a parent cell into two identical daughter cells. Before anaphase begins, the replicated chromosomes, called sister chromatids, are aligned at along the equator of the cell on the equatorial plane. The sister chromatids are pairs of identical copies of DNA joined at a point called the centromere. </em></u></h3><h3><u><em> </em></u></h3><h3><u><em>During anaphase, each pair of chromosomes is separated into two identical, independent chromosomes. The chromosomes are separated by a structure called the mitotic spindle. The mitotic spindle is made of many long proteins called microtubules, which are attached to a chromosome at one end and to the pole of a cell at the other end. The sister chromatids are separated simultaneously at their centromeres. The separated chromosomes are then pulled by the spindle to opposite poles of the cell. </em></u></h3><h3><u><em> </em></u></h3><h3><u><em>Anaphase ensures that each daughter cell receives an identical set of chromosomes, and it is followed by the fifth and final phase of mitosis, known as telophase. </em></u></h3><h3><u><em> </em></u></h3>

▪️Chapter - The fundamental unit of life
Rashid [163]

Answer:

The difference between Prokaryotic cell and Eukaryotic cell are;

\begin{array}{lll}&\underline {\text {Prokaryotic}}& \underline {\text {Eukaryotic}}\\ \\ \text {Nuclear \ membrane \ and \ nucleus} & \text {No \ true \ nucleus \ or}    & \text {Has \ a \ true \ nucleus} \\& \text {nuclear \  membrane} & \text {nucleoli \ and \ nuclear \ membrane}\\\\ \text {Membrane \ bound \ cell \ organelle} & \text {None &Present} \\\\ \text {Chromosome \ number \ and \ shape} & \text {One} & \text {Several, more \ than \ one} \end{array}

Explanation:

Prokaryotic cells

The plasma membranes surround prokaryotic cells, however, within their cytoplasm, there are no organelles bound to the membrane and there is no nucleus in the prokaryotic cell which differentiates it from the eukaryotic cells

Eukaryotic cells

Eukaryotic cells also have plasma membranes, ribosomes and cytoplasm. Eukaryotic cells also have membrane-bound nucleus, membrane bound organelles, such as chloroplast, mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, and Golgi apparatus which together differentiates it from a prokaryotic cell
