The biggest difference in citizen participation in government between ancient Athens and the modern United States is The Congress in the United States consists of elected officials.

<h3>Further explanation </h3>

The Origin of Democracy contrasts 3  ancient civilizations: Roman, Greek, and Persian.  The Origin of Democracy primarily focusing on their approaches to ruling the citizens that comprised them. In 392 B.C., in Athens, Socrates was found guilty by jury for corrupting the minds of young people and similar dissent-related charges, and put to death by poisoning. "People do not like to have their knowledge questioned, but I know that I know nothing." Those were the words he went out on, and it is said that he was the first victim of democracy.

There are similarities and differences between Athenian democracy and modern democracy. One similarity deals with the government. In a democracy, the citizens make decisions. Whereas the difference between the democracy of Athens and our democracy today is that in Athens the people directly made the laws themselves.

A sample of 15 workers in a certain city showed the following hourly wages in dollars) 140, 140, 125, 133, 135, 135, 140, 132, 1
nydimaria [60]

Answer:

The mean is the average of the given numbers. The median is the number in the middle of a set of given numbers and the mode is the value that appears most frequently.

The numbers must first be organized in ascending order.

120, 125, 125, 125, 130, 132, 133, 135, 135, 140, 140, 140, 140, 140, 150

In order to find the mean, all the given numbers must be added and divided by the amount of given numbers.

120+125+125+125+130+132+133+135+135+140+140+140+140+140+150=2010

2010/15=134

The mean is 134.

In order to find the median, eliminate numbers on each side until one number is remaining.

The median is 135.

In order to find mode, count each number and find the largest frequency of each.

The mode would be 140.

the graph of f is given. state the numbers at which f is not differentiable. (enter your answers as a comma-separated list.)
artcher [175]

The numbers at which <em>f</em> is not differentiable are;<u> -1, and 2</u>

The reason the above list of numbers at which <em>f</em> is not differentiable are correct are given as follows:

<em>Question; Please find attached a graph that can be used to solve the question</em>

  • A function is not differentiable at a point where the  function has a discontinuity. That is a point on the graph were there is a break in the graph

Therefore, the given graph of <em>f</em> shows that <u>the function is not differentiable at x = -1</u>, the point where the graph has a discontinuity

  • A function is not differentiable at a point where the graph of the function has a kink or corner.

The graph of <em>f</em> has a kink at x = 2, therefore, <u>the function is also not differentiable at x = 2</u>
