∠UVS = ∠UTV + ∠TUV
x + 8 = 90 + 64
x + 8 = 154
x + 8 - 8 = 154 - 8
x = 146

The value of x is 146

This is geometrically correct, now you must solve the algebra portion.

60 + 94 is just 154, which means x + 8 = 154.

What number + 8 = 154? It must be 146.
