The role of the nervous system is to help the living organism maintain functionality and be able to receive and respond.

Brain- the bodys control center

digestive system- functions to eat and put back out in the form of waste and secretion

Heart- a muscle that keeps blood pumping and spreading throughout the vessels in the body
