I think the answer is both B and C,because he needs to confirm his findings by repeating his analysis to make sure he didn't do any mistake in the first process but also needs to analyse fossils found in the same area, because he might find evidence of more fossils from the same time,that would support the hypothesis that there was a community there. You need evidence of a community,because by having multiple fossils of the same age,you could prove the one that you found is indeed older.
