The focus on neuroscience box "brain reward when making eye contact with attractive people" describes an fmri study. the results

showed that when we make direct eye contact with a physically attractive person, a specific area on each side of the brain is activated. when the attractive person's eye gaze is shifted away from the viewer, brain activity in these areas decrease. other researchers have expanded on these findings and identified additional brain areas that are selectively responsive to the reward value of attractive faces. these are the:

How do magnetic stripes of iron in ocean rock provide evidence of seafloor spreading
STatiana [176]

Answer:

In the 1960s, scientists found evidence that new material is indeed erupting along mid-ocean ridges. The scientists dived to the ocean floor in Alvin, a small submarine built to withstand the crushing pressures four kilometers down in the ocean. In a ridge’s central valley, Alvin’s crew found strange rocks shaped like pillows or like toothpaste squeezed from a tube. Such rocks form only when molten material hardens quickly after erupting under water. These rocks showed that molten material has erupted again and again along the mid-ocean ridge.

When scientists studied patterns in the rocks of the ocean floor, they found more support for sea-floor spreading. You read earlier that Earth behaves like a giant magnet, with a north pole and a south pole. Surprisingly, Earth’s magnetic poles have reversed themselves many times during Earth’s history. The last reversal happened 780,000 years ago. If the magnetic poles suddenly reversed themselves today, you would find that your compass needle points south.

I found this somewhere.

What is the the process of making a copy of a gene.
Anon25 [30]

Answer:

The process of making a copy of gene is called DNA replication.

Explanation:

This is a four step process. In first step, the DNA molecule which is double helical structure is unzip. This is carried out by enzyme called helicase which is also called biological scissors. Then after that DNA form Y like structure having complementary base pairs. Two strands are formed ; leading strand and lagging strands. They complementary base pairs allow the formation of new strands with help of primer. So new strand is then a copy of gene or called replicated strand.

Which is a characteristic of the part of the atom marked “b”? it is very dense. it has a large mass. it is negatively charged. i
SOVA2 [1]
Although the diagram is not provided, I have encountered it before. The region labelled "B" is a ring with two small particles on it. This ring is the electron cloud and is where the electrons move. Therefore, it is negatively charged.

The phases of the moon are caused by the sun is wearing distance from the moon moon’s revolution around the earth moves very dis
Inga [223]

Answer:

October 17, 2019

The Moon, otherwise known as Luna, is the only natural satellite of Earth. It was created 4.6 billion years ago, and it is widely accepted that it was created when Earth collided with a planet-sized object called Theia. It’s the fifth-largest moon in our solar system and is the second brightest object in the sky (after the Sun).

Explanation:

History of The Moon

Called Luna by the Romans, Selene and Artemis by the Greeks, and many other names in other mythologies.

The Moon, of course, has been known since prehistoric times. It is the second brightest object in the sky after the Sun. As the Moon orbits around the Earth once per month, the angle between the Earth, the Moon and the Sun changes; we see this as the cycle of the Moon’s phases. The time between successive new moons is 29.5 days (709 hours), slightly different from the Moon’s orbital period (measured against the stars) since the Earth moves a significant distance in its orbit around the Sun in that time.
