Convert liters to milliliters so that you have one unit for all of the amounts in the question.

1 liter is equal to 1000 milliliters, so multiply the 1.5 liters you have by 1000:

1.5 * 1000 = 1500

Since you drank 295 milliliters, and your friend drank 135 milliliters, you will subtract those values from the amount in the bottle:

1500 - 295 - 135 = 1500 - 430 = 1070

There is 1070 milliliters of water left in the bottle.

If you want to find the amount remaining in the bottle in liters, divide the amount remaining by 1000 to convert milliliters to liters:

1070 / 1000 = 1.07

Converted back into liters, there is 1.07 liters of water left in the bottle.

stich3 [128]

Answer-

A. strong negative correlation.

Solution-

Direction of a relationship

 1. Positive- If one variable increases, the other tends to also increase. If one decreases, the other tends to also. It is represented by positive numbers(i.e 0 to 1).
 2. Negative- If one variable increases, the other tends to decrease, and vice-versa. It is represented by negative numbers(i.e 0 to -1)

Strength of a relationship

 1. Perfect Relationship- When two variables are linearly related, the correlation coefficient is either 1 or -1. They are said to be perfectly linearly related, either positively or negatively.
 2. No relationship- When two variables have no relationship at all, their correlation is 0.

As in this case, correlation coefficient was found to be -0.91, which is negative and close to -1, so it is a strong negative correlation.
