3 0

A) S + D = 200

B) 85 S + 110 D = 18,250   we multiply A) by -85

A) -85 S -85 D = -17,000  then we add to B) and get

25 D = 1,150

Double Bed Rooms = 46

Single Bed Rooma = 154

*************************************************

Double Check

46 * 110 = 5,060   154 * 85 = 13,090

Total = 18,150

The required value after simplification of the s = -16/3. None of these are correct.

Given that,
To simplify [\frac{x^{2/3}x^{-1/2}}{x\sqrt{x^3}\sqrt[3]{x}}]^2   and to find the value of s in x^s.

<h3>What is simplification?</h3>

The process in mathematics to operate and interpret the function to make the function simple or more understandable is called simplifying and the process is called simplification.

Simplification,

=[\frac{x^{2/3}x^{-1/2}}{x\sqrt{x^3}\sqrt[3]{x}}]^2\\= \frac{x^{4/3}x^{-1}}{x^2x^3*{x}^{2/3}}\\= \frac{x^{1/3}}{x^{17/3}}\\=x^{-16/3}
Comparing with x^S
s = -16/3

Thus, the required value of the s = -16/3. None of these are correct.

in a survey, 8 out of 32 students preferred vanilla ice cream if 252 students are surveyed how many should theoretically prefer
nata0808 [166]

Answer:

63 people

Step-by-step explanation:

Given parameters:

Number of students survey = 32

Number of those that liked ice-cream = 8

Total population size  = 252

Unknown:

How many people in the population should prefer ice cream  = ?

Solution:

  From the survey;

    8 out of 32 students prefer ice cream;

     8 : 32

     1: 4

This shows that 1 out of 4 students will prefer ice cream

NOw to the total population;

  If out of 4 students, 1 prefers ice-cream;

     Out of 252 students   y will prefer ice-cream

     Number of students that prefers ice-cream = \frac{252}{4} = 63people
