artcher [175]

> c. is the correct answer. Howard Gardner's theory of Multiple Intelligences is a valid, reliable model that expands the construct of intelligence.

The theory of multiple intelligences proposed by Harvard psychologist Howard Gardner suggests that all people have different kinds of intelligence (eight to nine intelligences) and that traditional psychometric views of intelligence are limited. This theory enjoys considerable popularity with educators. Gardner proposed in his book "Frames of Mind: The Theory of Multiple Intelligences" that people do not have just an intellectual capacity, but have many kinds of intelligence.

2x=y+7 rewrite the equation in slope intercept form
serious [3.7K]

Slope intercept form is y = mx + b where M represents the slope and B represents the y-intercept.

2x = y + 7

Subtract 7 from both sides so that the y-variable is isolated by itself just like in the general form. Then simplify.

2x - 7 = y + 7 - 7

2x - 7 = y or y = 2x - 7

Wrong category though.

goldfiish [28.3K]

Answer:

The sociological perspective that best explains Scott's experience is the Labeling Theory

Explanation:

The labelling theory holds that self-identity and the behavior of individuals may be influenced by the terms used to describe or classify them. It is associated with the concepts of self-fulfilling prophecy and stereotyping.

In the case of Scott, the unfair treatment he received from his teacher and the reputation he received as a problem child influenced his character and behavior prompting him to drop out of school and have a negative mindset of being a failure.

Hence the answer is Labeling Theory
