Note that the fifth test = x

There are 5 tests, and the mean will be 90

" (92 + 85 + 90 + 92 + x)/5 = 90 " is your equation

Simplify

(359 + x)/5 = 90

Isolate the x. Note the equal sign. What you do to one side, you do to the other. Do the opposite of PEMDAS.

(359 + x)/5 (5) = 90(5)

359 + x = 450

Isolate the x. subtract 359 from both sides

x + 359 (-359) = 450 (-359)

x = 450 - 359

x = 91

Answer: 91

hope this helps

So to get the mean, you need to work out the sum of the values and divide it by the number of values there are.

This means you should do:

(Let x represent the fifth score)

(92 + 85 + 90 + 92 + x) / 5 = 90
(92 + 85 + 90 + 92 + x) = 450
359 + x = 450
x = 450 - 359
x = 91

So the answer is 91 and you are correct :)

Write the expression as a single natural logarithm;<br> 3 ln 3 + 2 ln x
crimeas [40]

Answer:

ln (27 x²)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given in the question an expression

3 ln 3 + 2 ln x

Step1

Apply power rule

mlnx=lnx^{m}

ln 3³ +  ln x²

Step2

Apply multiplication rule

lnx + lny=ln(xy)

ln (3³ . x²)

3³ = 27

so

ln (27x²)

Calculate the circumference of a circle when the diameter is 5cm. Give your answer to 2
FrozenT [24]

Answer:15.70

Step-by-step explanation:The formula for the circumference is 2πr. Plug-in the number provided into the formula, since diameter is double the radius you just divide the 5 by 2 to get 2.5.

So, 2π2.5=15.70

2 time π =6.28

6.28 time 2.5= 15.70

Llana [10]

Answer:

x=2.5, y=-5. (2.5, -5).

Step-by-step explanation:

5y+2(2.5)=-10

5y+5=-10

5y=-10-5

5y=-15

y=-15/5

y=-5
