The major impact of the neolithic revolution was the start of agriculture and domestication of animals. This caused people to have more free time for leisure activities and arts, not just live in survival mode. Males worked in fields and with animals and women often stayed home, raised children, weave baskets, make pottery, and tend to the ill in the village.
