The area of this parallelogram is the sum of the area of triangle DAE , area of triangle BCF and area of rectangle DEBF

Area of trianle DAE = 1/2 * base * height = 1/2 * AE * DE = 1/2 * 4 * 7 = 14 m²

Area of trianle BCF = 1/2 * base * height = 1/2 * CF * BF = 1/2 * 4 * 7 = 14 m²

Area of rectangle DEBF = length * width = FD * DE = 8 * 7 = 56 m²

Therefore, Area of the parallelogram = 14 + 14 + 56 = 84 m²

A=AB*DE=(8+4)*7=12*7=84 m^2

A=84 m^2

If, triangle ABC, the measure of angle B is greater than 90 degrees, and AB=BC, what is a possible measure for angle C in degree
sasho [114]

Answer:

A

Step-by-step explanation:

Let us start with B = 90

That would mean that each of the other 2 angles must add to 90 which makes each of them 45.

But the question doesn't allow that. B has to be greater than 90 which means that the other two angles must be less that 45 each.

the only answer that does that is A

The equations for two lines in the coordinate plane are 2dx - y = -4 and 4x - y = -6, where d represents an unknown value. What
GaryK [48]
First, let's put both lines in Slope-intercept form (y = mx + b) to make it a bit easier:
Line A:
2dx - y = -4
-y = -4 - 2dx
y = 2dx + 4

Line B:
4x - y = -6
-y = -6 - 4x
y = 4x + 6

We want a value for d so that line A is perpendicular to line B, which has a slope of 4. That means that the slope of line A must equal -1/4.
2d = -1/4
d = -1/8
