Read the following statements that describe how information flows in the nervous system. What is the correct order in which they
occur? 1) Response is carried to glands or muscles. 2) Information is gathered. 3) Information is processed and a response is formed. A. 3,2,1 B. 3,1,2 C. 2,3,1 D. 1,2,3
The correct order in which information flows in the nervous system occur would be C. 2,3,1 First information is gathered by any receptor. The information that gained will be processed by the brain. After that, the brain will send a signal to activate appropriate region to responses, like muscles of glands.
The nervous system is a complex network of neurons that carry messages in a body of particular animal.
The flow of information starts from the receptor which is the sense organ . The sensory neurons gathers the signals from the sensory organ and release them through neurons that are interconnected. Then they are received by the relay neuron which is in the spinal cord. Then the spinal cord sends signals back through the motor neuron to the muscle. Thus response is carried to glands or muscles to take away organ from danger.
Hence, the correct order in which they occur :
2) Information is gathered.
3) Information is processed and a response is formed.
Two examples of how the biosphere supports life is by reducing the amount of harmful radiation to reach the surface of the earth. It also gives oxygen for animals to breathe
Put one drop on the dimple tile, and the rest in a test tube. Then put the teat pipette back in the water outside the Visking tubing. Test the drops of liquid in the dimple tile by adding one drop of iodine solution from the dropper bottle. If they turn blue-black, the liquid contains starch.
