We know that 36 auditioned and only 6 got accepted

Our ratio (not in simplest form) is:

36 : 6

Divide both sides by 6, which is the GCF of 36 and 6, in order to simplify this ratio

6 : 1

That's your ratio in the simplest form.

Have an awesome day! :)

The ratio would be 6:1 because out of every 6 people, 1 person got a role.  Please mark Brainliest!!!

This pattern follows the rule multiply by 2. What other feature do you observe? 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128
ElenaW [278]

Answer:

Each number is 2 to the power some integers.

Step-by-step explanation:

The pattern is 4,8,16,32,64,128.

It follows the exponent of 2.

4=2*2 =2^{2}

8=2*2*2=2^{3}

16= 2^{4}

32 =2^{5}

64=2^{6}

128 =2^{7}

so, it is 2 to the power integers.

PLEASE ANSWER THIS ASAP, I WILL BE GIVING YOU A THANKS!
densk [106]

Answer:

I would say D. There is no logical explanation for the final answer but there is for everything else.

For A: Makes sense because 3x-2 are in parenthesis outside a number so you can multiply.

For B: Makes sense because you are allowed to add/subtract like terms but in this case only subtracting would make sense, (which is what they did) since you want to get all the like terms on one side.

For C: Makes sense because you are trying to simplify the equation, and they are both like terms (they are both numbers that have no letter attached to them) and they are on the opposite side making them able to be simplified.

For D: No idea what the point is.

I have k quarters, five less quarters than nickels and one more than twice as many dimes as quarters. Find the value of the coin
Alenkinab [10]

Answer:

(35k + 20) cents

Step-by-step explanation:

First of all, let us have the value of each unit:

1 quarter = 25 cents

1 nickel = 5 cents

1 dime = 10 cents

Given that number of quarter = k

Quarters are 5 lesser than Nickels, so number of nickels = k+5

One more than twice as many dimes as quarters:

k = 2 \times Number of Dimes + 1

So, number of dimes = \frac{1}{2}(k-1)

Value of quarters = 25 \times k cents

Value of nickels = 5 \times (k+5) = (5k+25)\ cents

Value of dimes = \frac{1}{2}(k-1) \times 10 = (5k-5)\ cents

So, total value of coins =

25k + 5k +25 +5k-5\\\Rightarrow (35k+20)\ cents
