Answer:

- engage in regular physical activity and get in the habit of eating food that is high in nutrients

Explanation:

Good health refers to keeping a balance of physical, emotional and social well-being. As a result, even though Juana has an appropriate weight, a good balance between physical, emotional and social welfare involves doing regular physical activity and changing eating habits, such as a highly nutritional diet.

how does water help an organism maintain homeostasis ? can some help me answer that question please. the subject is science . ok
777dan777 [17]
Living things need water in their cells. Water is the universal solvent - most of the chemicals a cell needs is dissolved and transported in water. Water is an environment where chemical reactions can occur and water is needed in many of those reactions - like the hydrolysis reaction (needed in the break down of food molecules). If a cell becomes dehydrated chemical reactions slow down. Chemical balance of the cell is changed as waste materials are not removed fast enough, food is not broken down, etc. Water also helps regulate the heat that can build up in a cell during chemical reactions. A dehydrated cell = increase in cell temp. Water content of a cell also affects the pH of a cell environment. Certain reactions occur better at certain pH. Homeostasis is maintaining a balance with the  the environment. Without water the balance is upset.

While spending a day at Funtasia amusement park with their family, Polly (age 5) and her sister Dinah (age 15) met Funder Dog, t
Yuki888 [10]

Answer: The correct answer is d) Polly will conclude that all theme park mascots are friendly, and Dinah will be wary of concluding that all theme park mascots are friendly.

Explanation:

As the brain matures, more cognitive functions are acquired, so different stages of cognitive development can be distinguished. This refers to the process as people gradually acquire knowledge and also learn to use it.

This theory was created by Piaget, which is called the theory of the stage of cognitive development. This is divided into four stages, that is:

1. Sensorimotor stage (includes from 0 to 2 years)

2. Preoperational stage (2 to 7 years)

3. Stage of concrete operations (7 to 12 years)

4. Stage of formal operations (12 years until adulthood)

In the case of Polly, he is five years old so that he would be in the preoperational cognitive development stage, and his 15-year-old sister Dinah is in the formal operations stage.

The reason why Polly can think that all theme park pets are friendly since, at the stage of preoperational development, children remain self-centered. They have not developed abstract thinking, do not make complex connections, and present a magical thought which Helps the child interpret how the world works, usually by associations.

Instead, Dinah is in the stage of formal operations where people use hypothetical deductive reasoning, which allows the person to perform abstract thoughts, deduce, and reason in a situation. For this reason, Dinah will not concluide that all the pets in the theme parks are friendly since she is carrying out a hypothetica thinking.

Alderete scale for color: 2 marks for pink, warm, and dry skin; 1 for pale, ashen, and diaphoretic skin. Alderete consciousness scale, 2 points if the patient wakes up easily, is oriented for surgery, opens their eyes on cue, and,1 easily stimulated by language cues Alderete scale 2 indicates pre-op systolic blood pressure plus twenty. BP + 20–50% of pre-operative systolic is worth 1 mark. Alderete scale activity 2 mark if follows instructions, moves with purpose, and 1 mark for weak movement .
