Question number 1 please help <br><br> The decimal one
allochka39001 [22]

The average of any two numbers always falls between those two numbers.

So one number between 0.65340 and 0.65345 could be

(0.65340 + 0.65345)/2 = 1.30685/2 = 0.653425

You can also compare the first several digits of the two numbers:

<u>0.6534</u>0

<u>0.6534</u>5

They both have the same digits up to the 5th digit after the decimal point. So you can get any number between them by incrementing (increasing by 1) the last digit to get e.g. 0.65341, or tack on any number of more digits to get a number larger than 0.65340, like 0.635401 or 0.63540000123, etc.

How many solutions does this linear system have? y = y equals StartFraction 2 over 3 EndFraction x plus 2. X 2 6x – 4y = –10 one
nordsb [41]

The system of equations provides a unique solution(one solution) at (-0.6, 1.6).

<h2>Given to us,</h2>
  1. y=\dfrac{2}{3}x+2
  2. 6x-4y=-10

<h3>Equation 2</h3>

As we already have the value of y from equation 1, substitute its value in equation 2,

6x-4y=-10

6x-4(\dfrac{2}{3}x+2)=-10

6x-\dfrac{8}{3}x-8=-10

\dfrac{6x}{1}-\dfrac{8}{3}x=-10+8

\dfrac{6x\times 3}{1\times 3}-\dfrac{8}{3}x=-2

\dfrac{18x-8x}{3}=-2

10x=-6\\

x=\dfrac{-6}{10} \\\\x=-0.6

<h3>Equation 1,</h3>

y=\dfrac{2}{3}x+2

substitute the value of x in equation 1,

y=\dfrac{2}{3}(\dfrac{-6}{10})+2\\\\y = \dfrac{-2}{5}+2\\\\y= \dfrac{-2+10}{5}\\\\y = \dfrac{8}{5}\\\\y=1.6

As we can see the system of equations provides a unique solution(one solution) at (-0.6, 1.6).

Question: You earn $840 per week. You pay social security taxes of 7.65%, federal taxes of 22%, and state taxes of 5.95%. What is your take home pay?Analyzation and solutions:=> 840 dollars = the total earnings you have=> 7.65% + 22% + 5.95% = the total of taxes charged to him.NOw let's solve=> 7.65% + 22% = 29.65% + 5.95% = 35.6%=> 35.6% /100% = 0.356Now, multiply=> 840 * .356 = 299.04=> 840 - 299.04 = 540.96<span>

(а+1) (а+2)-(а+1)(а-2)-а-1
umka21 [38]
If you would like to calculate (a + 1) * (a + 2) - (a + 1) * (a - 2) - a - 1, you can do this using the following steps:

(a + 1) * (a + 2) - (a + 1) * (a - 2) - a - 1 = a^2 + 2 * a + 1 * a + 2 - (a^2 - 2 * a + 1 * a - 2) - a - 1 = a^2 + 3 * a + 2 - a^2 + 2 * a - 1 * a + 2 - a - 1 = 3 * a + 3

The correct result would be 3 * a + 3.
