Enrique downloaded 25 songs.He chose a mix of hip hop and pop songs.He paid $60.Each hip hop song cost $2 and each pop song is $3.How many of each song did he download?

Let's say H represents the number of Hip-hop songs and P the number of Pop songs:

The first equation that describes the number of songs: H + P = 25    
The second equation is for the price: 2H + 3P = 60
 If you solve the system of equations you get P = 10 and H = 15
